| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yet another romantic episode for Kasumi and Yûsaku. Of course as any good Christmas Eve episode, we have them running toward each other under the snow. I can't say it was bad because it was actually good and it keep going forward in a "natural" way. But the "energetic" schoolmate is nerving and all this confirms Katsuhiko's doubts. (too bad -_-) 5/5 At least, there was no song during the running scene. |
| The last episode was pretty weird. The voice acting felt off probably cause there was way too much dialogue than an average Hiatari Ryoukou! (or Adachi Mitsuru anime in general) episode. It could've been a decent filler arc if the pacing wasn't all over the place and the characters weren't acting out-of-character. Kasumi was way too harsh on Yusaku. She should've realized something was off. And I think it would've been better if the show made it ambiguous what happened to the money instead of outright showing it. In the end, it only made Keiko look dumb. It was a predictable episode and so was this episode. Idk why everyone's actively shitting on Yusaku all of a sudden when he's probably the nicest guy around. I just found out from Wikipedia that Miina Tominaga who voices Maria in HR! also voiced Nitta Yuka in Touch, Yoko Kamiya in Tokimeki Tonight and the most surprising to me, Kozue Nanao in Maison Ikkoku! Voice actor facts will always be fascinating to me. |

| I still find it so odd how Kasumi and Katsuhiko are in a relationship and yet, they're just allowing all the love triangle stuff happen. Just has this cuckoldry feeling. Like, Kasumi is way too casual with Maria when she's trying to steal her bf and Katsuhiko is allowing Yusaku to cuck him. Just weird stuff. |
