Not exactly sure what to say positive about this series... Oh wait the animation is pretty consistent with the original.

Seriously feels like walking in on the punch line of a well worn in joke told by people you don't know that well + they are alien nobles with little girl tree rabbit shape ships.

Man, my favorite part of Tenchi Muyo, the part that truly brought me into this show all those years ago, is where they all stand around talking about characters from other shows and spin offs.

I remember, back in OVA 1, being absolutely riveted as everyone sat around a table talking about silk. Or or! I remember that part in OVA season 2, where they spent a whole episode around a table, talking about characters from other shows! Oh man, i just loved it in OVA 1 where instead of fighting Kagato, they sat around a table and talked. Or that part in OVA2 where they dealt with Dr. Clay, by sitting around a table talking. Oh and how could i forget that episode in OVA 3 where a bunch of characters i have never seen all sat around a table talking about who will get married next.

And i truly, with the bottom of my heart, just love it when half the episode is advertisement, for a show that came out 7 years ago.

Gaea? Giant robot battles for entertainment? What is going on? Why is this in my Tenchi Muyo Ryo-ohki? Why was this even made? Why? Why?!?

WTF?

Even the opening song wasn't that good this time. The OP music was the best part of the first two episodes (what retro-techno-synth music at the beginning of ep1, I don't remember that, that's my story and I'm sticking to it).

In addition to the complaints PotassiumBob made above, introducing a bunch of new characters, sitting around talking, etc., this series has done nothing but retcon the 2005 special (A.K.A. series 3+) which I particularly enjoyed.

It strikes me that this series was only meant as filler, to tie GXP and Geminar more closely to the OVA series, but do we really need that?

Rea was born on Geminar. And there it is.
Washu oppai. Dem nipples. Damn it. I want to see Ryoko, Fuuka, and Minaho.
Geminar is in another dimension.
This wedding is really happening.
Dat flashback.
A one way trip.
The rogue Gaea.
It's been 17 years since Rea came.
Now she has to send her child back. A mixed dimenison child.
Rea was made in a lab. Can't show nipples on ko-Rea.

Best part about the episode was the nipples.
