Erich getting the wedding, Wendelin taking care of the donation, and we get to see what life is like as an aristocrat. Surprising amount of realism imo.

Jesus my brain's burning after reading this chapter, like OP stated there was a good bit of realism and diplomacy/politics but I lost track on a good few points:
1. When Erich came out to greet Brantark, what did he mean by "keeping the balance with your parents..." and in the next panel "it'd be weird if Erich brought someone of a higher rank than them{the Brant family}..." who was the someone of a higher rank?!
2. From the letter-"...it was unexpected that Rich would marry into the same family level...On top of that the money was used up on the oldest son Kult's wedding...Tomake sure no one brings money to the capital, Paul and Helmut are to pay it in advance."- What do they mean when they said Paul and Helmut were to pay in advance, pay what to whom? Did they mean paying the dowry if they had prepared any to the father? If so what's with the "What does father expect from two royal capital security guards?"? What is this?! Does the father not agree with the wedding and thus, is refusing to send any dowry or are they just too financially tied up?
3. When Vel was asked about making connections, he replied "If I just normally appeal to the family, then I could make some good connections." and Branktark followed up with, "...Unlike normal Aristocracies it's near impossible to gain connections." what does this mean? What was Vel referring to when he said to "appeal to the family" and is becoming an aristocrat easier than gaining connections because this seems to be what Branktark is referring to?
4. What did Brantark mean when he said "That's the reason why the Baumeister family isn't on good terms with your parents"!? Isn't Vel from THE Baumeister family? Vel then followed up with "There's no harm if I stay home, so can I safely ignore this?" What is he referring to? Like halp!
5. The conversation continued with "And we hadn't even borrowed money from Margrave Braihidar...That would be pure defiance!@...We don't want to tarnish the margrave's honor!...Don't tell me will the margrave send soldiers to punish the Baumeister family?" I can try to make a conjecture from this conversation that Baumeisters aren't willing to send dowry since they approve of this wedding but I still don't quite understand this. Vel then thought "It's probably rude of us to expect that while our family is miserable." and Brantark said "it's been decided that Wendelin is taking care of the donation. The Braihidar family will fully repay you later." NOW I HAVE LOST TRACK OF THIS WHOLE SCENARIO WHAT THE F**K IS GOING ON!?

Why do so many anime and manga series do this?! If you want to put in elements of politics like such please elaborate and be clearer about it! This feels either half-baked or I'm just really stupid. F**king vector, logarithm, kinematics all of those questions are more fun than this like I can have more fun with my physics and chemistry textbooks than this horsesh!t if this is entertainment!!! F**K!

Edit:
6. What's this whole thing about adopting sons things? Isn't the family Erich married into the Brant family? Where did the Monjera and Luckner family come from then? What is this system?
