| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Usually not a fan of drama in shoujo, but when "dramatic irony" is going to be a main aspect of the manga, then I'm so ready for the heartbreak. First page and it already tells you drama is incoming, Risa is ignoring a call most likely made by Chihiro while Natsuo-sensei is kissing her. Natsuo-sensei warns Risa to stop reading manga about love and snap out of her dream world, or else one day she will pay the consequences. The consequence is paid right immediately when her Chihiro tells her he gets a girlfriend. Turns out Risa who loves Chihiro the most, is not the one Chihiro loves the most. Chihiro who said he can't live without Risa, but what happens when she gets taken away? Can't wait to see Chihiro get jealous and owned for being too late in realizing his feelings. This is one of the rare times I'm rooting for a teacher over a highschool student. Natsuo-sensei is so much better, even though he acts cold when it comes to love, he was willing to read all the manga Risa gave him and roots for Risa's love for Chihiro. If only she had confessed her feelings for Chihiro earlier, then no one would have gotten hurt. Really looking forward to seeing what path this manga will go, and it looks like the path Risa will go, will bring tragedy along with it. |
| heh i get a similar vibe with tenshi dattara which is a lot more painful than this series with it's current premise |
