Finished Nekojirou Udon. This is the type of manga I'm looking for all the time. It's not intertwined with culture so it tells a neutral story.

By physical version do you mean books? you can read Japanese?

Also I think Nekojiru's works are my favourite of all, followed very very closely by 'Ultra Heaven'.

I gotta say from what I read the manga is kinda bad. The shorts from 1999 have the same dark twisted humor but do them in a much more intelligent and well done way, while the "movie" did the crazy trips much better too. With the manga half is the crazy trips and the other half is "they murder a small animal because the author was into doing it too as a kid and cant see anything wrong and people thought it was just her being pervassive" it was done so much better into the shorts and while still being super dark I just recommend avoiding the horrible original and checking that one instead.

I read this through the anthology, bought it on booklive. Knowing the context behind the author's life and her thought process makes this manga so much more darker for me.

Hey, everyone! I found this website that has a bunch of other English language Nekojiru manga translations besides Udon. Thank you to this translator!

There's another translator I found who did the first volume from Nekogami-sami and has done part of volume 2 at the time of this post. I put the link in a discussion post on that manga's page.

If anyone can find English translations of all of her works, that would be great ^.^, only the first 13 or 14 chapters of Udon are translated. I may purchase vol 2 and 3 of udon if anyone is willing to help translate
