| i found this to be one of the best anime of its time. Yeah its easy to just say its ecchi i wont watch it, but it was really funny and the soundtrack is awesome. The humor was also pretty well-done, the riffs on classic tropes were quite clever (people started viewing the main characters as the villains because the mech kept breaking buildings), and the art was modern while still keeping what made classic mecha so awesome. I guess if you're not a mecha/toku fan, it wouldn't be as appealing though... |
