| So...it feels like death flags are being raised for Akane, but I can't imagine this series going that dark. I don't know much about medicine, so I'm not sure what her symptoms mean (bruises, bloody noses, fainting). Organ failure? Diabetes? Blood clots? XD Also, both Shin/Akane AND Karin/Aoi kisses this volume! Finally some real development. I like Karin and Aoi together, but I feel Aoi is too...emotionless? Or he doesn't put effort into the relationship? Karin has to make all the moves and he just goes with it. The scenes where Karin was jealous(?) of how much Aoi cared for Akane were kind of sad. Obviously Aoi doesn't like Akane in a romantic way, but him being so protective of her (and I guess actually /showing/ he cares) makes Karin feel like a distant second, despite that she is dating him. If Akane fails the entrance exam after like, an entire series of studying and build up, that would suck so bad. |
