^ Yea buddy, that’s your posts on this series in a nutshell. They’ve added absolutely no value or insight, at all.

Anywho... This was quite the intriguing ending. With shades of The Shining, and Titanic, all throughout. All revolving around the airship Lavion. But not in the way I’d been suspecting, all along. Gotta say, I really loved the 80s/90s synth-pop score to this series. And while it was mostly enjoyable, from time to time it felt like key aspects of a given episodic plot were omitted, leaving the viewer to largely fill in the blanks of how and why a given scenario got started and inevitably played out, the way that they did. Not too bad, overall. But, not the best thing ever, either. Mostly enjoyable, but hardly required viewing.

A shitty ending as expected from this series! Didn't "Boruto" said he quit being a mercenary, why was he helping Ratishia for?

In the end we never got to know "Boruto's" past, and that's a major factor in the series. The guy was just a one dimensional character, along with those shallow women he apparently had to save. The stories were so lacking in pace and proper development that you had kick yourself for considering this crap -fest in the first place. Bolt was the most boring MC I've ever encountered, he lacked any deep connections with the storyline and the characters around him.

The plot was shit, the mystery didn't interest me and failed to grab any attention. I think I understand why it has low members, here I was thinking I found a hidden gem, but all I got was a pile dog poo wrapped in a McDonald's paper bag! Fuck this series and hope I will never lay my beautiful eyes on it again. How it got past the 6 rating is the same mystery that aliens exist.

2/10.

Somehow I liked this series better than its 98 sequel. But in any case, taking up the manga now.

Good finale, and we learn that Bolt wasn't the only "Eat-Man" out there once upon a time.

Overall, the series was a bust. There were a few enjoyable episodes, but the majority of the stories tried to be deeper than they were. Back in the day, they might have been considered profound and groundbreaking, but they just ended up being shallow and too abstract. It probably worked better in manga format where they didn't need to pad time.
