Everything is made of Lo: If I were to compare Lo to a substance on earth, the best example would be an atom. Atoms are the building blocks of all the elements, and each atom contains great energy. Just the same, Lo can be made into anything, and can produce energy in the forms of heat and light. Of course it is impossible for us to pick up atoms and put them together in a certain order, and normally, the same would apply to Lo. The Kor changes this.

Unrefined Lo:Although the general public just calls it Lo, the liquid that is created from the Kor is unrefined Lo, much like a stem cell waiting to take a certain form. Certain processes must be used to make this unrefined Lo into materials. These processes are called refinement, and are known to most Incas and any being who took the right classes. Unrefined Lo can also be used as an energy source or a weapon, but in such a case it will still need to be run through a machine that can refine it. (i.e. A flamethrower consists of a fuel pack full of unrefined Lo, a machine that can convert it to fire, and a tube to release the fire.)

Eos: All beings are made of Lo, just as all objects are, and yet there is a difference that allows for reincarnation. The Lo of living beings encodes memories, personality, and species, even when it becomes Li. This special Lo, referred to in the scientific community as Eos, exists throughout the entire body of all living beings. There is one exception, and that is the Cil, who's Eos begins in only the core, then spreads out as it grows. This is why the most effective way to kill a being is to cut off a limb, head, or cut the body in half. It separates the Eos. Of course, obliterating the entire body through any means works perfectly fine.
P.S.: Upon research of the Sea Lily, it has been discovered that its Eos's structure is almost identical to the Krak's. This is likely the reason it seems to improve their health so much. Similar plants may exist for other species, more research is necessary.

Li: At first Li was thought to be a simple output of energy released by Lo, but it seems to be the Lo itself. All things made of Lo are constantly subject to gravity, and gravity causes erosion on Lo. Although the effect is very minimal and not noticeable over a single year, it exists. It can likely be assumed then, that eons ago, Avia was a larger planet. This erosion does not seem to effect Eos however. Li cannot be touched or manipulated by any machinery created today. Any attempts to replicate the Kor's effects have failed. However, Li seems to be influenced by the powers most of the Av develop through their lives. Although Incas can see this, they cannot quite find the source, though it is likely linked to their consumption of unrefined Lo.
