| I was enjoying that one, as it had some nice production values. Not sure how good the manga gets, but there was a lot to enjoy in that first season alone. I actually mention Sankarea in one of my videos, "Cliffhanger Anime," because its odds of being renewed are abysmally low. |

| It's been almost 4 years since it aired, the manga is done, and the anime itself wasn't exactly a hit or even a moderate success. If they wanted to make a second season, I think they would have announced it by now. Quite sad, because the manga got really good after where the anime stopped, and I would have loved to see that in animated form. And it's especially sour when they introduced a new character in the last OVA that would play a HUGE role in the story from that point on. |

| im late to the party :( wishing for a season 2 as well though. i really enjoyed this anime. i will read the manga next, maybe supporting it will make season 2 more likely. |
