1. Who is your favorite character in Chihayafuru?

Kanade Ooe!

2. What about this character makes you like them?

Her love of kimono's, history & poetry. She is an individual with a really sweet nature and although she isn't that athletic or academic, she tries her hardest for everyone (and has many talents).

3. Are there any particular characters (main or not) which you do not like?

None really.

4. Are you happy with the levels of romance in Chihayafuru or would you like to see more (or less!) romance between the characters?

I have been hoping for more advances in Chihaya's romantic life however I prefer anime's which don't focus on romance heaps and so I am still very happy with the balance of romance (and pacing of it in the story) Chihayafuru has.

2. I just love her character development and how socially awkward she can be (with her 'weird' outfits). I wish she got more screentime, honestly

3. The first-years in Mizusawa. They irritate me SO MUCH. But, Hanano irritates me the most. Her character just doesn't appeal to me. She's only playing karuta to get close to Taichi and she's always saying how she doesn't like it. I don't care if she grows to like it, the fact stands that she's not putting in 100% because she doesn't care about karuta. The karuta team doesn't deserve someone who's not 100% devoted.

4. I think the romance is enough; there doesn't need to be any more. After all, Chihayafuru is about karuta, not romance. If anything, I feel like we should see what the characters are like outside of karuta (although Chihaya's whole life is karuta, lol)

2. I like him mainly because as a kid he was so matured and inspired Chihaya to play cards . And I like all about him .

3. For now I don’t have any hatred character.

4. I don’t like an anime when it’s focused on romance.

2. I love him because he is trying his hardest to play karuta in his own way and for his own reasons. Like, I enjoy the game the most when the anime focuses on him and you can hear how he's repeating the unread poems in his head because that is simply just too cool. Also, I thought he started playing karuta just because of his crush on Chihaya but not only that he acknowledged it he is proving to himself and to us that he really loves karuta even without Chihaya in the picture. I am also a sucker for kind characters (like Natsume Takashi or Kamado Tanjirou) and Taichi definitely is one. Though he is more realistic as he also doesn't know how to say no and he also gets selfish from time to time. And I can relate to that more.
3. Taichi's mum for being Mrs. Pressure.
4. I don't really care how much romance is in this I just want Taichi to be happy.

Taichi is the best character in the series. Taichi's has complex personality and also he has very kind hearted. While I like Taichi's analytical and intelligent personality, the negative side is that he's too harsh on himself. He must stop seeing his own bad, leave his past behind and open a new page.

Actually, I also love Chihaya. It doesn't matter whether she reciprocates Taichi's love or not. I like Chihaya's smiling friendly and upbeat personality. I also understand that she is naive about love. Yes, Chihaya was not at first observing the emotions of the people around her that well. But this is very normal because she has an extroverted nature and a character that moved towards its purpose. But I think her character has matured since Taichi left. Now, she better observes human relationships and understands people emotions better.

3. my favorite character is Kana chan, she'a very smart cute personality.

Arata is a character I don't like and I find him a little callous. I think he moves a little bit too much logically. Maybe the only character in the series that I feel nothing when he opens his emotions. I just felt the emotion in Arata anger is realist. The rest of the emotions he has, to me more fake and artificial.

2.He’s a nice guy and got the others to play. Also I’m a sucker for a character with a feel bad story

4.I would actually like less. I loved the first 2 season more on than the 3rd because it had less romance. I love the romance but the first 2 season focuses a lot on karata and 10% romance and I was fairly happy with that. Also Taichi looks like he’s winning so I don’t really want any more chance for him to win.

Arata is one of best anime character ever.and I hate Taichi because he doesn't deserve what he is asking for.
