I love J-Rock and I'm not just talking about your usual anime opening and endings. I'd have to say my two favorites are Asian Kung-Fu Generation and Flow. I also listen to

Back-on
Abingdon School Boys
Naifu
Gackt
UVERworld
Porno Graffiti

etc....

The point is does anyone know of a good site or place to download J-Rock? I'm not just talking about torrent sites or 4shared, but sites dedicated to Jrock download.

Not manly.

Just kidding.

I listen to a few jap bands too... the pillows, Boredoms, Luminous Orange and Polysics rock my world :D. Also noodles, which is one of my guilty pleasures.

Answering the question, well... to look for downloads I think Google Blog Search is your best friend. Some examples below.

"j-rock downloads"
"japanese music downloads"
"Asian Kung-Fu Generation discography"

Megaupload is sweet. :3

jenny on the planet and Naifu are the only bands I really like. I tend to not listen to anime songs out of an anime because I like to keep anime and music seperate, so I sadly can't list JAM Project.

I don't feel comfortable calling it jrock, but the album Heavy Friends by the band Boris, as well as that one song, Cobalt Blue by The Backhorn.

I'm more of a fan of the Japanese Metal scene, however I enjoy some of it's rock. Acid, Street Beats, Asian Kung-fu Generation, Number Girl, Does and Kishidan are the ones I listen to the most.

I'm a big metal guy. I don't dislike JRock though.

For metal check out Galneryus, Iron Attack!, Animetal and X Japan.

Hmmm.... I've listened to a bit of j-music, I think MONO counts as rock. Hmmm, Pay Money to My Pain, envy, Euphoria, Asian Kung Fu Generation, the brilliant green, abingdon boys school, Blood Stain Child, Nanase Aikawa, Glay.... most of these aren't that good, though.

I get all my music from a private tracker I'm a mod at, it was in my sig for a while.

X Japan is awesome. Found them totally by accident and they blew my mind. And thnak God no one's mentioned Maximum the Hormone, otherwsie Wayne Brady would have to choke a bitch. I really would like to add Rip Slyme, I mean you can't go wrong with a name like that.
