Since the anime is not coming out anymore, I thought that I should read the light novels but the problem is that I don't know where to buy them. I live in UK, London atm so where can I buy them and what is the average price? Also, from what volume should I start reading? (Since I've finished all the seasons)

I buy the novels from Amazon UK. At the moment, they're selling for £9.99 (new). You can probably get a better deal if you buy the novels from the Amazon market place because they tend to be in the same condition at a lower price.

Volume wise, perhaps you could start at volume 4 because they don't adapt that part of the novel. I think the anime adapts a bit of volume 5, so maybe you could start there instead. It's completely up to you though~

So far the only English publisher of the light novel series is Yen Press.

Amazon UK has them. for 10 pounds per volume. it's 13 US dollars so it's not much difference in price.

Amazon UK also has them being sold from 3rd party vendors for much cheaper. The vendors seem reputable from reviews. and they're half the price. But it's your call.

I recently bought all of them from the Book Depository via Amazon.co.uk.

It ended up being cheaper this way - you could get the volumes for £3-5 each in new condition with £2.80 post + package.
Buying them directly from Amazon put the price at £10 each with free P+P, which ended up being more expensive.
Buying directly from Book Depository had them from about £7-8 with free P+P which was still a little more expensive overall.

So doing Book Depository via Amazon was the cheapest way.

As for which volume - season 1 covered Volumes 1 + 2. Season 2 covered volumes 3 + 5. They skipped the 4th novel. I would recommend starting from the beginning because it's an amazing read, but if you just want to continue on with the story, get the 4th volume and then go from the 6th onwards.
It's an entirely different kind of flying, altogether!
