this anime was great and if they develop the characters more and focus on romance a lil with they same drive for FC then this can be a top anime i dont really like sport anime but this one got me wanting more Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm. so i hope since the VN got a season 2 that means anime will get one 2.

how would u feel about a season 2 guys and what would u want to see more of ?

I would love to see more Asuka! Also I would not mind seeing Hinata Masaya (coach) participate in the skies more because the little bit he did was pretty epic as it was and would like to see him do at least one match. Throughout the whole season, there has been many hints from Kagami (instructor) at different times about Hinata Masaya like if he was once a great flyer until he quit. For example, in episode 1, Kagami's first appearance she says "How unusual for him to come flying." Then some really strong hints in episode 10 when the team witnessed a new move from Masaya called the "Sonic Burst" and shocked that he mastered it back in grade school. It was during this moment when yet again Kagami said another hint "Welcome home, Masaya" for which that alone really got me looking forward to seeing more of what makes him so special.
Last detail to finish this topic off about Masaya and might give you the cliffhanger effect feeling like there is a BIG whole in the story left unanswered. As we all know that all eye's have been on Asuka due to her being new to FC and constantly pulling off difficult moves one right after another without the need to practice any of the techniques. Asuka has got everyone's attention on her except for one person..Kagami, she still would rather see Masaya flying; why is that?!

Now that has probably got some of you thinking and now you might be really hoping that they will bring us a season 2!

Plus, there's plenty of room for a second season to expand on every character. Especially when the Kagami (instructor) in the last episode said herself "Players will be freed from the shackles of balancers..It's a dawn of a new era." Ooooh DAMN! What she said just bleeds the future of season 2 all over the place!

Now I have NO facts that there will be a second season, but hopefully this will help put some pressure on Gonzo to get season 2 in the works since there are some big unanswered "plot leaks" with some of the other characters. Masaya was the biggest plot leak left unanswered for why I to bring that up to the surface.

I mean the possibility is there but I hate to point out that the source material just ended as well so I doubt this show goes any further. It wasn't bad but it wasn't stellar. It did have potential for all the things you mention but with the manga over I wouldn't count on it.
