| If I had to bet, I'd say it'll be only 1-cour (13 episodes), and then we'll have a last season with 2-cours (26 episodes), just like the first season. |
| As long as Toei will go with the 1 act = 1 episode pattern again it would rather be 12 eps of Infinity Arc, then 11 of Dream Arc and finally 11 of Stars Arc. We can only speculate for now, because the total amount of episodes isn't known yet and the first 2 Seasons haven't exactly been split, so it could be a bundle of 23 Eps from Infinity + Dream or 12 Infinity separate with a brutal cliffhanger and later 22 episodes from Dream + Stars Arcs too. Still plot wise I'm quiet positive about getting 23 eps now, because in Act 38 (last episode of Season 3) the Infinity plot transit into the Dream Arc. Similar like Dark Kingdom plot to Black Moon Arc in Act 14. Of course everything could happen at this moment, like I wrote at the start. Let's see what will come out ;) |
| Well... that came unexpected. Yesterday I've read some interesting info's about the upcoming SMC Season. Here you have the link to it: http://sailormoonnews.com/2016/03/11/the-infinity-arc-of-sailor-moon-crystal-will-have-more-than-one-episode-per-manga-chapter Seems, that not every act will get the treatment to be split in 2 episodes. Still it will make some episodes look less rushed through and I'm happy about the praises people gave about the preview. Seems that the next Season will be much better animation and quality wise. |

SMC seems to have a really good director now. :P And the more episodes the better! But I also think that we need to brace ourselves for more transformation sequences which may serve as fillers if there's not enough material to adapt a split Act from manga (like eps 1 and 2 I guess). :P |
