| I've also been thinking of watching Death Parade. I don't know much about Overlord, but Black Lagoon is a slick choice. And I've heard a bit about Baccano. It's by the same studio as Durarara so I'd be pretty down. |
| Baccano is one of my favorites! I really think you should give it a shot also don't give up after watching it's first episode because it's kinda hard to get and they did it on purpose. But as the story goes on things get clearer and you discover how smartly every episode was planed. About the overlord, it is a classic fantasy genre anime but it really gives you the joy of watching a fantasy also I think first 2 episodes was boring compered to the other episodes. |
| The overall layout of the episodes in Baccano was similar to the way Durarara was structured - not surprising considering it's by the same writer. Many things don't start to click and make sense until the end, and it's well done. To be honest, I think it was better done in Baccano than it was in Durarara... I think I successfully predicted at least half of the plot twists in Durarara, not so for Baccano. |
