| I'm not as invested in Eve as the story wants me to be. She played around with high risk gambits and is willing to put not only herself but Lawrence on the line too while trying to deceive him. Being a noble and a wealthy merchant wasn't good enough for her, apparently she also wants some lofty sense self-actualization. And now Lawrence has to save her, because she happens to be a sharp tongued young woman. |
