I've been her fan for about a year or so now; really surprised when she got that shokugeki no soma ed. Anyways her spastic indie sound plus the no bounds attitude just hits it hard into the happysad youth energy you've seen in the new j-indie/punk crowd. I'm so glad she has more of a presence due to that anime ending since this type of music is not appreciated enough, with similar artist like 銀杏BOYZ (GING NANG BOYZ) and 神聖かまってちゃん(Shinsei Kamattechan) and maybe some of DAOKO's earlier works. Her tracks have sort of a punk punch to it like "焼肉デート" "少女3号" and her new single "マジックミラー" ; then others are almost completely acoustic with sometimes just a accompanying piano "私は悪くない", which is a gem in its own right with the orthodox use of coughing and vocal layering, and "歌謡曲" which is equally emotionally packed. Her more "exciting" songs have a large variety of instrumentation, the core being a heavy drums and guitar while adding in synth, electronic effects maybe strings.
