| This volume was mainly filled with character relationship drama and set up for the rest of the arc. I can't help, but respect Honoka for her determination to not give up on Tatsuya and to flat out challenge Miyuki for him in even when Tatsuya was there. Mayumi needs to stop being indecisive, she needs to realize that neither Tatsuya or Miyuki would think any less of her if she were to admit her true feelings. I feel like since her and Tatsuya will be working together in the next volume, she'll probably end up confessing. Poor Masaki is kind of fighting an uphill battle, overcoming Miyuki's bro-con just doesn't seem feasible. Looks like the Black Sage is at again, I wonder how he plans to deal with the USNA and the 10 master clans hunting team(Katsuto. Masaki, Mayumi, and Tatsuya) going after him now. |

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this one. Determination is one thing, but that can only excuse so much. If he hasn't responded to her feelings when he was available, why would he suddenly decide to start right after he gets engaged? Also, even if Miyuki agreed to her challenge, isn't going after someone else's fiance shameless, to say the least? Regardless of how it turns out, I just wish it would end. Seriously, let's take Old Yeller out behind the barn already. I'm also a bit disappointed in Shizuku this volume. Sure, she halfheartedly advocated giving up on him, but she also included being a mistress as a viable option, so that was pretty much a wash. I realize she's trying to spare Honoka's feelings, but I think a true friend would exercise some tough love in this situation. Sparing her feelings in the short term does her no favors in the long run. The thing is with Honoka, she can't let go of Tatsuya. She is a elemental and elemental's, due to gene manipulation, obtained a hereditary gene that makes them eternally dependent/loyal to someone and that someone for Honoka is Tatsuya. |

| What a great father Ichijou Gouki is. He is going out of his way to help Masaki to get Miyuki. The news breaking out that Tatsuya and Miyuki were part of the Yotsuba family, as expected, shook everyone.It is understandable since they are known to be 'Untouchable'. Everyone were simply scared. Lots of drama involved. . Poor Honoka. It was taught for her. She didn't give up so she deserves some respect. I was hoping to Morisaki's reaction. Mayumi should just admit that she likes Tatsuya. That's the ship that I'm supporting. Katsuto became the next head of the Juumonji. Kudou Retsu withdrew his family from the Ten Master Clans to take responsibility for his family's action and the Shippou's took their place. Takumi would be so happy. It's nice that his behaviour changed. The hate between Maya and Kouichi is intense. Remnants of the Dahan, specifically Jiedo Heigu, is after the Yotsuba and instigated a terrorist attack and the USNA are turning a blind eye since it's supporting its interests. It nice to see Lina again though. Hope we get to see more of her soon. |
