Their sacrifices were not in vain, as for from the north most of garrison was busy with dealing with rebels charging onto the Wolf's Maw, so the plan with breaching the gate with exploding handgonnes could make enough openings from the southern side of the stronghold. Everything to allow the insurgents from the outside of Swiss territory to effectively enter the Wolfsmund and start the decisive battle inside its walls. That man who had equipped the Eternal Alliance with fancy weapons surely must've loved the Inn Mistress, heh. |
