nice relaxing episode.
minamin x towa is not bad pairing. they are have some same background character, and their power are opposite kind (ice and fire).

next episode is fairy episode. I am looking forward to see again paffu and aroma spotlight.
after that, i heard about episode between haruka and yuuki again. I liked the interaction between two.

I am glad that so far Kirara and Minami have not lost any screetime after Towa getting into the team. I thought it was going to focus immediately on a Haruka and Towa friendship like in Fresh with Love and Setsuna. So hopefully it will keep this way.

And I am starting to get tired of Towa's clueless behaviour. Ellen who was the same case as her only spent her time in Earth as a villain, yet she did not behave this clueless. Not even the mascots. But I guess the creators want to give attention to her character for now.

I'm up to 15th episode with Suite so I'm not sure how Ellen acts after her transistion to Cure but as Siren she was plenty level-headed and if she wasn't brainwashed like Towa then I don't think they are similar at all. Towa didn't got much action as Twilight who was as sheltered by Dyspear as she was during her reign as Hope Kingdom princess - only showing up in the middle of first act and fighting Cures without using much stategy which was pretty much layed to her by Shut and Lock or Dyspear herself. In fact Twilight didn't show prowess in anything other than fighting and it stayed the same with Towa: on the other hand Siren was the brain of the group and operated in Cure's world (sorry, don't remember name of their town), so she had time to get the basics at least or figure it out for herself, having more exposure to surrounding world and overally being more intelligent (not to mention you can't make a strategy if you don't know your terrain, so to speak). At least that's how I see it. I'm not telling you that you should love Towa's cluelessness at any cost, I just wouldn't compare her to Ellen as equals, because they both had different backgrounds and roles. Ellen definitely got a head start there.

Other than that: shizles, Minami is gay for everybody. I'm usually not the one for yuri undertones in PreCure, but I get all the vibes in Go! Princess. Casting these aside, Minami really grows up as a lovely character. She's wise, subtle and distant in a good way. Those girls really seem mature, each in her respective way. I'm not very ecstatic about next episode: Perf and Aroma are so-so but okay, let them have their moment.

You have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to Ellen. Her personality changes quite a bit after switching sides, and part of that switch entails her becoming incredibly silly and clueless about stuff. Her classroom introduction was very facepalm worthy, too, for instance, x.x . But with her, at least, it wasn't THIS overbearing. To me, they're crossing the line with Towa.

Really? Okay, I stand corrected, I'll get to watching Suite somewhere soon then to see how this worked out. Personally I don't mind Towa acting clueless, she's from entirely different place and never did anything out of her princessy stuff, so I find her actions understandable (or maybe I watched enough "princess-meets-real-life" movies not to bother). What I like is that they are not terribly intrusive with her character development: she doesn't hijack the show from the minute she showed up, instead she's building bonds with rest of her team. And her trauma didn't just dissapear from one episode to next one. I feel she's a little one-dimensional compared to the rest of the girls (she doesn't have much going on about her right now, save for her brainwashing and revenge for Hope Kingdom) but her individual arc is done really good.

Also: Toei, new OP and ED NAO

Ellen was controlled which was similar enough. Still, Towa did a bunch of battles, so I still find this kind of behaviour as attention for her character. The mascots from Precure 5 and they were not so clueless, even though they were barely exposed in the Cures' world. I am just saying that is Towa's gimmick.

Ironic that, coming from someone with Ellen in their favorites.

Like I said, with Towa I believe they are crossing the line. Towa has been so silly in a way that I have found aggravating, but I found Ellen's brand less severe and more endearing. It's just too much with Towa.

Actually, my dad has a phrase that describes my feelings towards Towa: "Enough is enough, and too much stinks", lol. I am still very much aggravated that her storyline never delivered for me, though (in fact, it may be one of the biggest disappointments for me in terms of anime), so I don't have much patience for her, unfortunately, :/

Another good team work episode. I really liked how Towa and Minami got along with each other.

Towa's clueless has not bothered me to much. Now if you want to talk about a Cure how had bad clueless, how about Makoto (Cure Sword). Now that was a Cure who got on my nerves at times. Girl was in the world for a while and her fairy even knew how to drive a car, but did not know about brushing your teeth. Now that was a face palm.

I compared Towa to Sword in an earlier topic, actually. I didn't like her, but I am finding Towa far more annoying.

I'm willing to give Towa's cluelessness a hand wave because of her unfamiliarity with a different world and because she's an actual princess. It's a common trope for that type of character to have, and it's in line with GoPri's princess theme.

Also it's still cute.

Cute to you. To me, it's fairly annoying.

I expected so much more from you, Towa, :/ . I apparently had the wrong expectations, but still.

Almost thought the episode would be entirely a breather episode where the enemy didn't show up but it happened anyways, their vacation was good while it lasted LOL

I feel pretty bad about Towa, she lost years of her childhood and was left full of fears, scars and traumas. I had no idea you could eat corn raw.
