anime vs manga

how different are they?
did the anime skip a lot of material?
i also heard the anime ending is before the actual ending in the manga, true?

the manga is on sale on rightstuf.com and i'm wondering if I should grab them while they're cheap

Hi! the anime is really attached to the manga, there are some differences though...for example, the Otani of the manga is way more handsome, I think the art of the manga is much better.
Also, the first date of Otani and Risa is different in the manga and the anime. At the manga, they go to play games, like they do afterwards with Mimi. In the anime, They go to watch some kind of olympic games. I personally think this part at the anime was a bit weird because neither otani or risa had shown before an interest at those kind of sports. I think this part was changed to make the episode funnier, because they end up confessing their love in front of all the audience by accident and then they ran away.
A part of the manga that was changed in the anime put me sad, because I really loved that part. It's the part when Otani is riding the bike with Risa at the back. At the manga, this part is more emotional. Otani tells Risa "don't stop loving me", and says that hearing her talking about maity pisses him off. Then, Risa leans her head on Otani's shoulder. This part was very sweet and wasn't at the anime, but it's a small part.
Also, there's a part in the anime where Otani kisses Risa on the stairs. In the anime this happens after going out with Mimi and Risa, but in the manga this happens after the school festival. I think that the anime mixed some events of the manga because it does'nt cover the whole manga series.
I think the anime is very good, but I preffer way more the manga. The drawings are better, some conversations are more emotional and you can see much more abput the relationship between Risa and Otani. They even go to Maity's wedding. Also, there are some extra chapters on the manga, where you can see how Otani and Risa realize how they had met before, at an Umibozou concert, but they didn't know they were they, because they were wearing glasses and caps and everything was dark.

but i already went ahead a bought the all the books last year
i haven't read them yet but i will soon

im glad the anime did a good job of adapting this story cause i really like it
haven't found too many romance anime's that are as good as this
