The following should not be taken seriously.

So far all the asspulls come from Rakuzan. Note that i'm using the word asspull like how most people (wrongly) use it. That is, if someone reveals an ability he has not used before, or if something happens that I don't like, it's an asspull.

A sixth man from nowhere. Asspull. I don't care if there's a flashback explaining how he's discovered or that it was explained that his abilities weren't used in the Shutoku match because of Hawk Eye. As an MAL user, it is within my prerogative to call asspull even if there are perfectly rational explanations for what happened.

Akashi being able to dunk. Asspull. He shouldn't have that level of athleticism. If Akashi can touch the rim, Kagami should be able to land on the moon.

An uncrowned king (Nebuya) being able to completely outmatch another uncrowned king (Kiyoshi). Kiyoshi being nerfed just to give Rakuzan a huge lead. Plot armor for Rakuzan.

A move (void shot) that can make an opponent unable to jump. Asspull. I don't care if the explanation comes later. Right now there isn't one, so asspull.

It's impossible for Seirin to win under normal circumstances. I don't see how, but it will be interesting at least.

Remember Kagami can still go into the zone. Kuroko can still come back with a solution. The uncrowned kings are beating the 2nd years individually, but in this episode itself, we see hints that they can be beaten by (passing) teamwork. Remember how Seirin collectively worked together to try and stop Kise? Well, the uncrowned kings aren't Kise level. Don't count them out yet.

Akashi dunking. Definitely possible but extremely difficult given his height... impressive leg power. And here I am trying my best just to touch the rim.

Sad that Seirin lost the individual matchup battles. It was nice to those position matchups.
Hax void shot. And Nebuya's muscle power.
I mainly see the animes... so don't blame me for not knowing about the Manga/LN

Good episode ! :)
Akashi is so badass, he can also dunk, I like him ! *-*

Haha the moment Akashi vs Furihata made me laught. Akashi's like "Seriously ? Why this weak is here ?" --> Lion vs Chihuahua XD

And I found that the ghost player of Rakuzan shows off a bit. ^^
When Kuroko is watching him, he's like "You.. I'm not gonna like you.." XD

well do i do hope the anime change the outcome of the match if they dare

Sacramento won vs Chicago after being down 34 points.
And quick google search reveals there's even been a comeback from 36 point diference! And that's real life, imagine what anime could do.

Another quick search shows a video of Lakers doing 14-0 in 50 seconds!

While these situations are rare, they also occur in real life, so there you go.

Are people really upset that Akashi can dunk? Nate Robinson 5'9- slam dunk champion , Spud Webb 5'7- slam dunk champion. Akashi Seijuro 5'8- finishes alley-oop. For those that don't know it's easier to jump higher without the basketball and you can reach higher with one hand than with two. Yes those are professional basketball players, but watch this video of a 20 year old, who's 5'8 and never even played college basketball

And allow me to preemptively answer the oblivion/void shot complaints by issuing this challenge to those who will complain when it's explained, jump as high as you can without bending your knees....there you go, now sit back and enjoy the rest of the game.

Nice, Chihiro has some character, and here I thought he would be the mute guy like Mitobe :)

Nice episode, even though I've seen this pattern so many times already. Of course Seirin is going to win, but I can't wait to see how they will achive that.

There is something that bothers me. How come they didn't use the first years in the first game against Touou? They were having trouble caused Momoi researched the second years, but she had no data on first years like Furi at all. Yet they're using them against a GOM and three Uncrowned Kings, but not against Touou's normal players?

No, he is not that short

According to wiki page he is 173 cm (5' 8")

Kuroko is 168 cm (5' 6")

Mayuzumi had a nice response to Akashi with not being just a better copy of Kuruko in the flashback
Seirin would be letting every player on the bench play in this match if the pace is exhausting every sub that's been brought in

The guard and shooter mirror was kind of absurd to see though to display Rakuzan's difference in level
I like the funny scenes, it reminded me of Slam Dunk

Wait a minute! Is it possible that Seirin won't win??? I mean... I wouldn't be too surprised since it's Kuroko no Basuke and we saw Seirin to lose plenty pf times, but still. I want them to win. I don't hate Rakuzan tho. I can't hate them, they are all so silly. xDD But WTH Kuroko get yourself together. Broken Kuroko is not the real Kuroko.

Damn, Mayuzumi can shoot like a normal person.

Glad we got to know more about the Uncrowned Kings like Demon Guardian Mibuchi and Brute Force Nebuya.
Too bad for Thunder Beast Hayama though.

Riko's almost out of options that she had to send Furihata, Fukuda, and Kawahara out.
Damn, 62-37. A miracle can't help Seirin win? But they have to.

LMAO this is starting to get hilarious. As hilarious as the ending of last episode was (Mayuzumi being the newer model pfft), we have a shoot which immobilizes your opponent? ... I have gotten used to it by now.

I really like the ED song, love how the pics change every episode. Esp. that message on the school playground, that gives me feels. It's perfect <3

Plenty? They lost only once, to Aomine in season 1 and that was only a summer game.

They didn't lose ever since and this is their last game, you really expect them to lose?

Yeh right... I just can't wait to see Seiring pull out their new "secret weapons" despite missing one of the key players, Hyuga ,and have Ryukuzan suddenly go into "idiot" mode...

-_-

Like seriously, is it that hard to have a decent, big game that I can honestly believe that main charas can win? It's same thing over and over. "Oh no, look Seiring is about to lose. Completely destroyed. But hey, we had a hidden trick and won!"

Seiring never had an even game among top teams, they are always barely scrapping by. It's not fun any more. Especially now when they even lost Hyuga and in a way Kuroko.

Wow, Kuroko vs his mark 2 was crazy. Nice flashback of the recruitment of him.

Poor Furihata but he wasn't half bad, I like the kid.

Heaven, Earth and Void, it kinda makes sense but I expected it to be hell tbh lol. The 3 chosen make it sound sorta Bleach (which I watched before) like lol.

Akashi is crazy good. Although I also didn't think he was tall enough to dunk.

Wtf? Why is Kyoshi sucking so bad. He had some really good development in s2, and he shouldn't be losing out any compared to the muscle dude.

At least Hyuga was doing sort of well, once he breaks void he'll come back on top I hope.

Also Chihiro is a complete contradiction to what Akashi said about kuroko. Chihiro shoots and dribbles more than kuroko. So His misdirection should be weaker than Kuroko's.

Kagami is generation of miracles level, yet why is he letting his team get crushed so bad?

ugh the frustration.

akashi's dialogue is so freaking annoying and his power is so underwhelming no matter how much the show wants to tell us how intimidating he is.
the coach crying at this point is dumb since the game is far from over.

damn the OST is making it much better.

i'm kinda frustrated, i understand that akashi is strong, but seirin can beat the other uncrowned players, but it seems they kinda losing it, and it's not even explained...

and once again, like in the match against kaijo, kagami jut don't shine here so much, i expected from him much more.

seems that the current situation they build they can win only if they give the entire team something new and new ability to kuroko.

though all that said, the show still enjoyable and fun to watch, but it's just feels like the formula had been used already...

Furi vs Akashi lol. Well, at least he scored a point. The other bench guys did their best too. Mitobe also had a nice moment before. This match highlights the importance of the whole team.

The Uncrowned Kings are pretty nasty after all. Tho with funny personalities. Not good enough at basketball? Just start bulking.

Meanwhile Akashi started flexxing when the opponent is already down. Never looked so bad for Seirin.

The "narrators" acting like this is the first time Seirin has been outmatched so bad, but the real issue is they just haven't faced an overwhelming threat since Season 1. While epic, even the second match with Touou was one they already had the advantage of knowing their opponents.

I loved Muscle-guy's answer to Kyoshi. Guys like that actually exist in sports and even if it might seem silly, their single-minded drive can be respectable in its own right.

I also like how Leo isn't just a plot tool that will just randomly stop using his overpowering strength, he actually knows his limits very well like and plays to that.

My main gripe though is Akashi - is he seriously not playing to his best? Sure, it makes sense, but Seirin winning with a buzzer-beater definitely will leave a sour taste in the mouth if Rakuzan starts taking them seriously just in the second half/last quarter.

P.S. I still have the issue with First years - why do they even exist? We already have second years who haven't been on the court in like 2 seasons or something. Why do we need a guy who kinda looks like the cat-face guy for example?

Kind of a pity, when you finally get the chance to be on the court but got beaten off so badly. Those first years really just gave in to Akashi's intimidation. And what better than feasting on that fear, the rest four doing that without any worries.

It's already looking far out of reach for Seirin, but I just want to see that inevitable comeback.. because it'll come.

That deadly glare Kuroko gave Mayuzumi (Grayoko?) was priceless.

Both filled with burning intent - to fight for the Role of Phantom Six Man - and also cold and calm - studying his every play.

Akashi Alley Oop felt a bit excessive and unconvincing.
