It was a big volume, at least compared to the other ones that I have.
I don't recall about Maou knowing Emi's mother in the anime, so that was a nice "extra".

Those resumés were funny.

I overall enjoyed it. It was still funny and informative. And the anime did a great job in adapting it.

I go where I wanna go, even if its into Oppai.

I found it a little odd that Emilia gave him the umbrella at the end of this volume as opposed to at the end of the anime (which I assume was the end of the 2nd volume). I guess it wasn't that odd, given that she did it after realizing he was becoming a decent person... but still, it felt a little sweeter in the anime.

Aside from that I thought this was a big improvement over the anime adaption... glad I started this... just wish light novels were more popular here so they'd translate faster.

Things I noticed:

Emi actually has black hair.
We found out when Emi's Dad died (I don't think that was in the show).
We found out Emi's mother's name and Maou new her.
Emi giving Maou the umbrella happened much earlier.
Mauo is a lot more emotional/expressive.

She has normal body proportions and isn't the center of attention...so far. Chiho's body is way more exaggerated in the show and just abnormal. (It's very obvious a pervert was in charge of Chiho's design and forced OP/ED sexualization.)
Chiho is a lot more annoying & bitchy in the show. Though that could still happen. Since at times, she can still be an annoying, selfish, childish/immature brat.

I may have missed some things. Feel free to add.
