| This final OVA's pretty far-fetched. I'm not sure just by doing math you can move the moon but OK :P I guess it helps Kato pull those metaphysical chains the right way at least. Still really visually striking though. This part isn't in the film at all (though the moon is shown to be kinda large at points), so I'm not sure it's even part of the original story, which seems more based around historical events. Destroying the whole planet by bouncing the moon seems to be going a bit far, even for Kato. I think the film climaxes with the final showdown with Kato happening at the same time as all the Gakutensoku business in OVA 3. With Yoichiro Tatsumiya a super powerful white magician due to his heritage... It's also more apparent there that the reoccuring fortune teller had been giving Keiko advice a la the Goddess of Mercy / don't be a hater, be a hugger stuff, here it's more of an aside. |
| Yeah, probably the least coherent episode narrative wise but like the rest of the ova a lot of crazy visual displays of magic. Makes me wish there was a translation of the novels but it seems doubtful that'll happen in the near future. |
