So many asspulls this episode. I can’t believe he shed a tear over having to kill the mass murdering parasite when he’s been preaching about how he hates the murdering of humans the entire show.

The author could’ve implemented his anti-human message better. This is just not subtle at all and really stupid in this case because the organism Shinichi had “no right to decide to kill” was a sadistic alien that spawned out of nowhere and was most definitely gonna hunt him down if he revived.

I'm so happy Migi survived, I was crying last episode. I was gonna be angry with Shinichi for sparing that monster but luckily he ended up killing him. Does he not realize he'd just end up being hunted again, and the whole village would die? He'd be back at square 1 for no reason. Sometimes MCs would refuse to kill the villain because they'd be "just as bad" as the them. No the villain killed 100s of people, how can you even compare that? I don't get it. But this is different, it does have better logic. The monsters thinning out the numbers of humans, which would be better for Earth overall. What Shinichi is doing is just benefiting humans.
