| This chapter felt odd. Sure, we could see decent show of medieval fighting scenes, but at the same time there were way too many scenes breaking up the seriousness we could've seen in the previous chapters. Hilde joking around for serveral pages resembled more of a generic moment for a shounen manga, not for a seinen story. Her skills seemed unreal as well. I know it's a fictional story, but so far in Wolfsmund there was a decent amount of realism. Here we have a part of four people defeating the whole garrison, and Hilde getting the most of kills against regular soldiers, fully armed. |
