| Vsause did a similiar video on this about if the earth was flat. Gravity would compress it into a spherical shape even if it was made if diamond or something highly dense. |

Interesting enough, I read a while ago this article about how unrealistic some science fiction space crafts and mechanical satellites were, and one mentioned was indeed the doughnut-shaped stuff. Another thing to consider is, besides gravity, how would the torque work on the center of that thing? Assuming it rotates like a normal satellite, of course. In a spherical system, it can be easily compensated and nullified, but imagine the spinning pattern of this thing. God, I'm sorry for those living near the center. |
