| It's not bad but not spectacular either. If this was popular and mainstream, you bet Polyphemus amd Beatnik would have given it a much lower score. At the end of the day, it's an unpolished edgy manga. If you want real soul-searching depth, go grab a real novel. I'm saying this as a manga fan. If you need some bold and provocative manga; Palepoli, Oyasumi Pun Pun, Fire Punch and To You the Immortal are superior in almost every aspect as well as being way more entertaining. |

| One of the explicit and unconventional pieces out there. I'm trying to rack my brain to find the strength of this manga. I'd say the art, as I always appreciate it in everything that I read. There is nothing much going on except for the fact that in every story, there has to be a sex scene. Even the kids. I actually liked the Cat Ritual. It's a stupid idea, I know, but it's funny how wild the kids' imaginations are. And maybe because there was a fleeting moment of sadness I felt when the cat tried to save the teenage mother. Hardboiled Sakata, the last story, hmmm.. How many fucking years did he stare out the window? lmao. He's got a partner and two kids in the process, and yet he can't assassinate the target. He kept doing the job because he thought, as a renowned assassin, he must fulfill it or else his reputation might die. Or his personal goal, or something. dunno. But he's got a family. Unplanned, but he has to accept those responsibilities. It's a good thing he realized everything in the end. Good. As stated by the author, it took him 6-7 years to make this. idk, I just had to say that. |
