Kaitou Joker and Magic Kaito

Aren't they too similar? And having these 2 in the same season is a bit disappointing to be honest, Kaitou Joker loses way too much reputation, well, not that it deserves a better reputation than it already has.

What do you guys think?

As someone who has read both manga series, I'm going to say that comparing both of them is like comparing apples and oranges. Also, Shogakukan would never approve Kaitou Joker to be serialized in the first place if it's too similar with Magic Kaito which is one of their older manga series.

After seeing how both manga progressed, I actually like Kaitou Joker better than Magic Kaito. Magic Kaito didn't leave much of an impression for me compared to Kaitou Joker.

I don't think Kaitou Joker is bad, it is average, it seems a bit more directed for kids to be honest.

I think they both is not same because Kaitou Joker is stealing over the world than Kaito Kid. Kaito Kid need to hide his identity because he is highschool student. Joker is full time thief. In Kaitou Joker show have idol, ninja, pirate, detective, highschool student, alien and witch.

i think you are right. Kaitou Joker deserves a better reputation and popularity
