| If you say u dislike ecchi ur an absolutely boring person. not excessive ecchi like DXD I mean those well planned ecchi scenes that fucking makes u hot like Illya for example... The idiots saying ecchi does not suit kyoani its because you dont know the old kyoani. who used to make a lot of dirty jokes and sugestive scenes on his animations. hmm.. if I can say FREE makes a lot of use of this aspects but in a yaoi way... while Amaburi does the same in the normal way... I mean the character stereotype and gestures... very sugestive... allied with low ecchi... can stimulate one's mind to think of the dirtiest things. |

I'm honestly glad that KyoAni makes "quality fanservice" again, it's been a long time since Mikuru in Haruhi that we get that kind of scene. |

| Actually I have no problem with it. It is definitely ecchi fan-service, but this is actually nothing new with KyoAni if we take what they did on their early days of Full Metal Panic series. Sure if we compared this to ecchi genre nowadays are somewhat lacking in the department but it is maintaining a decent level that wouldn't shun out the non-ecchi fan while still cater to those who likes it without ruining the main plot (pure fan-service that takes no important plot points). |

| The very first anime TV series done by Kyoto Animation was "Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu" (2003). It had extensive fanservice in several episodes, which could be called Ecchi in the two episodes where Tessa visited Japan. When Kyoto Animation produced "Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid" (2005), some parts might have crossed the boundary from extreme Ecchi to mild Hentai. (The twin sisters Xia Yu Lan and Xia Yu Fan.) If you look at the color insert illustrations for the light novel series on which this series is based on, several of them are definitely Ecchi. |
