| It was hilarious when he started floating after the first fight. It was interesting since I'm not familiar with these historical people (aside from knowing Benkei from Warriors Orochi) |

| It was fun to watch, especially the animation during the fights. I'm glad nothing happened to the owl! (does that count as a spoiler? xD) |
| There's something very charming about old animation shorts. I liked the first half better than the second, but overall an interesting watch especially when considering the 1939 publication date. |
| I liked it overall, the training of Ushiwaka in the first half and the fight between Benkei and Ushiwaka. I'm kinda glad by the outcome of the fight, at least Benkei will fulfill his dream and Ushiwaka will have a vassal in Benkei. Good story but the quality especially the sound was pretty bad, but it can be forgiven since it is an old anime. 6/10. |

| I was expecting a lot more from this since I'm familiar with both the legend of Ushiwaka and Benkei the 100-sword hunter but it was rather milquetoast but the animation's decent for its age. |
