| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I think this chapter was better than the first one. Even though the story and art were quite simple, reading Zatoichi was an enjoyable experience. They could do something similar with the rest of the Zatoichi movies. |

| Oh that's interesting. I vastly preferred the first story. There was more of an arc for Zatoichi to overcome- whether or not to take the other blind man's advice. He wrestles with his choices and interference. Second story was more conventional. Zatoichi had already become a legendary known about badass. He helps the family but I didn't get as much out of it. Overall I don't regret reading this. It was fine but I would've liked to see more. If only. |
