| Ahh Kasumi is so cute. It's so tough to watch the characters make assumptions based on heteronormativity and societal norms. :( I wish I knew if it was the mangaka's intention to lampshade that or not. I think Sakura is starting to get it though. She could have been petty and refused to get to know Kashiwa as a girl, but I think she needed to understand and so was able to take a step back and observe her as she is now. And people like Uozomi do have their place in the narrative. It's a way of showing the truth of how society as a whole can teach people to be - and also sometimes how their views can change - to see outside the mold, to question. |

| SHE HAS THE CUTEST GIRLFRIEND HOLY CRAP. It does suck though, of course everyone assumes she's dating a guy and of course since she's dating a girl then she's "a guy then" It's stupid but at least Sakura gets that it's Kashiwa that she likes and it's not that she likes her because of "her girl side" or her "guy side" I do wish Sakura would quit saying "normal" girl though like there's something wrong with Kashiwa. ): |
