@tchamy, I already booked a trip to Japan (I leave the 21st of June) and got exactly the opposite problem. I want to go alone, NEED to go alone and all my friends who also always wanted to go to Japan are like: finally someone we can tag along with. And I'm like.. NO! I want to go by myself. All alone.
Ofcourse I can't forbid them to go to Japan on the same day as me, I do not posses that power ofcourse. However if they decide to just do it after I told them I did not want them to go with me I will just treat t hem like strangers and if they keep insisting on being around me I will ignore them.

-when I was working in my local anime-shop I once made someone believe the Death Note I sold was a real working one.

How much did you book the plane ticket for? And on what agency? I was looking all around the net but the prices change on a daily basis.

Why would you want to go alone? well the plus side sure is you choose where you go, when you go and so on, but the expenses are bigger that way. And personally, id feel weird/lonely if i wouldn't have anyone to hangout with in the evening.

around 1100 one way and at the national agency of my country (wich is now owned by france I think?) so I don't really think they fly directly from your country. I will make a stop @ Helsinki. Exact shit I tbh do not know for all is paid by my father.

Simply because I don't like people for a too long time. I can hangout with the same person for 3 days max and then DEFINITLY need some alone days.. wich is quite impossible when you are on vacation together for 3 weeks. I won't have any real expenses for everything is being paid for ;) food, place to stay, ticket, any other costs. Everything but souvenirs I want to buy for myself. Like figures and clothing. That I gotta pay for myself... and it's not like you would share the costs of a pair of jeans or something..
So all is better alone.

So your parents are paying for your trip? OMG, i envy you soo much :o
I worked part time for a month and made 1000euro, but spent alot for a scooter... so ill have to work another summer to get enough money for the whole trip :C
Even tho' my uncle lives in Tokyo he probably doesn't have enough space in his appartment for another person...

1100 euro per one way ticket? i saw offers for 900 for a two way? idk really
