| At the very start of the story, Nishizono Shinji is served as the evil psychopathic killer personality of the Kobayashi/Amamiya. We know very little of him, except that he apparently revels in violence and killed every one of the people who's personalities inhabit the body of Amamiya. Mid way down the story Shinji took over the body of Amamiya and together with him disappeared from the story for 6 months of the manga's story. When he reappeared he seemed to have to his own agenda and clearly was set out to muck up some important plan that the villains of the story seemed to have. And then he was abruptly killed. What a shame... but was he really a psycho? Right before the manga was dropped by apparently everyone (thanks Dark Horse), we got a story arc that detailed the events prior to where the manga got kicked off. And Nishizono Shinji personality played a major role in it. But the thing is... he was anything but a total psycho he was portrayed as at the start of the story. A little goofy but otherwise quite normal person. And not only that, he seemed to have a good grasp of the main plot that was going on and was completely aware of his many personalities. He even went as far as helping his Kobayashi personality in police investigations. A real shame he was killed. He became my favorite guy in the manga post mortem. All the more saddening that he's never coming back from the dead... which actually may not be true. We've been told that the barcoded eyeballs have everything to do with "psycho" personalities. And that they hold the memories of the people who had them. What would happen if the eyeball holding the personality and memories of Nishizono Shinji was transplanted into another person? We also know that there might be another copy of Nishizono Shini/Amamimya Kazuhiro walking around somewhere. Hmmmh... I think the manga may be set up for the return of the fabulous Multiple Personality Detective! Don't. You. Know? You. Don't. know? Troouubleeee!! Don't you know~? |
