| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Actually many of the great abstract expressionists were great artists of realistic work first. I hated Picasso until I saw his wonderful earlier work that was realistic and knew that he changed after seeing tribal African art. Then the abstract expressionists were the bigger sellers and more famous, but I prefer realistic art and impressionist art ( like Monet) too abstract personally. But my professors like abstract expressionism and not realistic art so it made that difficult for me. Now it has changed and it is like there are many styles that are all seen as equally good instead of being whatever happens to be in fashion at the moment. |
