| I see that I have made some Manly Movies topic ages ago...But I guess I was just being a fucktard and had forgotten (too much anime watching at the time prolly hahaha) about the great actors I did already know. Can anyone beat this guy? I don't think so. His acting skills are too great. Sometimes you have comedians do action movies but fuck up. Or you have action stars do comedy movies and fuck up. But Arnold...he can do everything...perfectly. I guess list your favorite movies by him? Or discuss his governing skills? To start: Mine is probably Totall Recall and I think he's a great governer (not really, i have no fucking clue how california works, don't live there) Misc--I was recently watching Terminator 2 again and there is this scene where he appears naked and I started cracking up. His acting chops are so great he doesn't even have to say anything to entertain me (I am saying he is like Bill Murray except for real men and not just angsty people who don't do anything. I do like Bill Murray though) ++Also I often think he is a great symbol of freedom. I mean I was at Gamestop at like 7PM the other day and it was closed. And I started thinking about Arnold and how awesome he is. He would just punch through the wall and be free and get some video games (for free). |

| Haha, the guy is awesome. Gets the shit done. Always. Maybe this is going to sound weird, but my favorite Schwarzenegger movie is probably True Lies. I watched it a while ago with my sometimes-feminist sis, and she laughed more than I did. A funny surprise. Back on topic, to me the film worked very well as a deconstruction and parody of every other "spy movie" out there. It mostly ridiculizes common situations (the typical "cool" situations) and character motivations. Of course, it has tons of action, explosions and "Arnie" moments ("you're fired", "Yeah, but they were all bad" (when asked if he had killed people before)), but always with a touch of humor on them. Offtopic: And the dancing scene is teh HAWTEST THING EVER. |

| He does everything great, even comedy? Are you forgetting: Kindergarten Cop & Last Action Hero!? :p My vote would go to Bruce Willis. Die Hard was bad ass and he was also in a GOOD little cartoon called Bruno the kid. But never mind that and my insolence to this thread ;) My favorite is Predator and Eraser and just for kicks, Hercules in New York. lol |
