This qualifies as one of the worst manga I ever had the opportunity of just going through. Summary: Average high school girl does not last in relationships because she thinks she loves the serial killer whom she lost her virginity to and keeps saying that to herself until she's in her mid 30's. I seriously wish I was making this stuff up. 1/10 |

So what.. they have loli, incest, all sorts of shit in manga. The reason this is accepted is because it's manga. Not real, fake. Big deal she falls in love with a psycho, like that's never happened. |

I would like to think there are standards to writing a good manga story and this is not one of them. :P |

How is this not a good story? Shit like this happens in real life. Girls 'fall' for the people who rape them. If anything its bad because it doesn't dive deeper into the whole issue. |

I gave the manga a 6/10. The central conceit of the story, a girl falling in love with the rapist/murderer, is certainly realistic enough when you consider how often women are attracted to "bad boys" and "gangsters" in real life. Their taste and inclination in matters of love are very different than those of men, which is the whole point of the work. In fact, that's the whole punchline; that this sordid story, featuring casual online sex, rape, and finally, death, is really just another teen romance, like so many other manga. |

The probability of the situation happening in real life doesn't save this manga at all. It's just uninspired. The mangaka might as well have pulled out a news article and drew boring, uninspired art with no good artistic skills to speak off. |

While I don't share his overall opinion about the manga, it wasn't super original, either. The central theme of a girl falling for a dangerous/bad guy has been done to death in thousands of movies and books, although I particularly liked its execution in the manga, as well as its implied parody of shoujo/romance manga. However, the main concept itself is not particularly inspired. |

I just completed it. It was interesting, but there was so much more that could have made it better. |

It felt like it should have been the opening to some kind of extreme inner look into the life of someone who isn't "All there" by society standards. Inspired to me is more something that gives you emotions. Im probably alone in that line of thinking though. -laughs- |

Aside from the manga's content, it felt like the mangaka didn't put effort into portraying the situation as an emotional rollercoaster as it should have been. He wasn't motivated to make me feel how extreme the situation was. It didn't make me uncomfortable, sad, happy or any emotion apart from apathy. I simply shrugged my shoulder and realized that if mangakas can put out rubbish like this manga, then I could draw my own manga about some extreme situation I found in a newspaper and garner the same reception. Maybe I'm just being snobbish because I've been spoiled by the amazing narratives of Lone Wolf and Cub, Apollo and other manga. By the way, the only manga that made me sick to my stomach and not want to continue on further due the mangaka's fantastic capture of the extreme situation is Bradhley's Coach. It's @#$@#$@# up to say the least. Even Ichi the Killer doesn't hold a candle to its narration. |

personally, i found this somewhat interesting - good art, interesting concept (falling in love with a serial killer?) - my only problem was, because of it's shortness, it didn't have enough time to develop... and people (men and women) do fall in love with psychopaths - ah, the strangeness of human nature................ |

It's not "the worst", but it's a pretty strong contender |
