| Honey FTW. I loved this episode. Honey transformation and ending attack were awesome. Thanks God for better line art in this episode. I still can't forget this Picasso thing from 10... Anyway. After watching preview of 12 episode... I again had stupid feeling that Izumi-sensei remind me Tsubomi from Heartcatch... And Cure Heart in next. Yay, they remember DokiDoki. |
| As a member of the highly acclaimed and reputable MyAnimeList.Net which serves as the pinnacle of objectivity and attracts the highest calibre of connoisseurs, the plot inconsistency at the start of the episode is simply inexcusable. Honey had been a cure for ages, fighting Sai-akus, yet the villain queen did not know of her? 1/10, dropped ^Who cares? THIS WAS AWESOME! All the trolling, self-ridiculing and Michael Bay-esque explosions and the cheese, yet the characters still act so consistently with their super duper amusing and quirky personalities! HapCha is well on it's way in potentially becoming my best anime of 2014. 10/10 FUN, AMAZING, EXPLOSIVE! |

Anyway March was a silly choice for this episode, presumably because she's hungry and loves eating like Yuuko. Come to think of it they should've used Muse somewhere as she's a Yellow Cure, showed up to help mysteriously and hails from a music-based season, but Toei and logic never were a thing. In fact this episode proves it. Hime somehow becomes the smartest person around and asks questions for once, and GOOD questions no less. What does she get? Yuuko refusing to answer and blowing her off during most of the episode. Even Blue was more helpful, even though we found out he doesn't hand Love Crystals personally and just throws them around like a flower spreading its pollen, and Cure Marshall, Cure Surrender Monkey and Cure Dhalsim just happened to be more receptive. Whatever. In fact Yuuko might be a bit of a jackass given she claims to have turned a Cure before Megumi did, meaning before episode 1, yet when Hime and Megumi ran away from the first Terribad she just sat on her fat ass and let it wreck shit instead of killing it. Terrible Toei writing, how I didn't miss you at all! Also Queen Mirage is CRAWLING IN HER SKIN, THESE WOUNDS THEY WILL NOT HEAL. Sorry. The rest wasn't bad, but I love how the series makes Hime be the "bad" one a bit for wanting to know things, possibly in an attempt from Toei to subconcisouly tell children looking for the plotholes in their shows is a bad thing. Screw you guys, give me Videl's leg hold. As for the fight, well. Apparently Lovely and Princess can't move their legs, oh noes! If only they had attacks they fired from their eyes or hands, and if only they had cards that let them fire area of effect nukes. Oh wait, THEY DO. This is so clearly shoehorned to make Honey save them, except they could've just blow up these guys and then show the HUGE army of Kindabads that was there as shown later. Honey's transformation is cute, but like every transformation sequence in this show is way too freaking long. Popcorn Cheer is nice too, but nothing special. At least they didn't make Lovely and Princess too incompetent by making them save Honey, but still. Also the method to avoid Honey's debuff song to work is so, so dumb. Just not paying attentiong. Honey can be bested by a crossword puzzle. At least Toei made up by all these issues by making Honey not only have a finisher but be one of the best moves in the franchise; it's a fucking colony drop. Honey has buffs, debuffs and drops space rocks, she's a Time Mage! As for her reason to not lending a hand this time, yeah, no comment. It's too dumb and too absurdly out of character for me to even care. The preview isn't bad, but given this seems to be the only filler episode around it worries me Megumi will get extra focus because Pink Cure Bias. Also the baseball thing was in Fresh too, but it seems otherwise different so we'll see. |

| 1. Deep ost in this ep. Love cure honey's calm composure. Definitely my favorite so far 2. Listening to cure honey talking about protecting delicious rice is epic 3. As a yuri fan, seeing hime & yuuko holding hands / embracing each other can get confusing xD 6/10 |

| That was great episode. Now do the smart thing Toei - drop Mana mk 2 and Hime, to give Yuuko more time - if they won't use international Precure, go with turning Seiji into a girl. It will work, really. Or maybe not Hime, she was decent in this actually - asking questions, not being too much irritating/useless I'm fine with it. Fight was weird - sure it good to see Honey dropping stuff from space but this series even more relies on magical attacks to get things done. Ohh good old days when Black and White didn't need those weapons of weaklings. So yeah, that would be my main complain here - still I'm sure it has to do with parent being angry at series learning their kids to solve problems this way. Downsides of having such target group. And finally Yuuko is here and she might get more time, before being demoted to extra in favor of Hime and Megumi. Well this is Precure after all. So far she is best character, even if her reason might be a bit weird, I can understand it. She knows what she wants to do, goes for that goal and looks like most normal of girls. She needs more screen-time, around 80% of it. |
| CURE MARCH YESSSSSSSS! I'm so happy, just need Cure Peace and I'm satisfied :D Wow, Cure Honey's transformation is freaking awesome, so full of movement and energy, it pisses me off even more that they cheapened out in the animation and budget for Cure Lovely's (just because I rather they be consistent and put effort in the only animation that will be reused from now on in movies). Also holy fuck her attack is so big they had to zoom out until Earth could be seen. I'm not personally crazy about Yuuko right now, so far she seems too perfect, I hope that gets changed in the future now that she's a Cure. |
| This was a really good episode. I enjoyed it a lot. First of course, good to see another Smile Precure member. Not sure why March was picked? I would have gone with one of the other Yellow Precures. Like Lemonade or Peace. Seeing as both Lemonade and Honey can sing well and eat well. Peace mostly because they both represent peace. Still maybe they'll show up for later Lemonade episode. The story was pretty good and I enjoyed the fight. Cure Honey also had a cute transformation. It was just so happy looking. I also enjoyed the fact that Namakeruda is immune to Cure Honey's songs. Mostly because he's to lazy. Still it's just good to see her song's won't work on all the bad guys. Honey's attack was awesome to see. |

| Awesome episode :) Cure March!!! Yuuko really loves her honey? She should have a Winnie the Pooh bear with her XD As for the Queen not knowing who she is, i think i remember she was only concentrating in one region which is Pikaroga. Cure Honey may not have fighting in that region when she was a Precure. Precure Sparkling Baton Attack drops a meteor leaf from space to earth O___O That explosion though! To be honest her reasoning for not telling them because she was too happy to do it kinda feels weird for some reason. I actually been noticing that we've been concentrating more so on Hime than Megumi even though she's the pink precure. I hope to see more Cure Honey and Cure Fortune in the near future! Can't wait for the next episode though! |
