I do hope we have weekly meetings. In there we can share new animes we've seen (that the others haven't), etc.

I think we need to focus on recruiting new members - at least 10 so we can become a club

I've already persuaded a mate to join and hopefully those other two guys that didn't show up are still keen

If everyone agrees to meet on Mondays, it will be just fine for me (however, I have classes during Mon and Tue from 05 to 07 PM so there will be times I'll be missing the meetings). Any other day aside from the two said would be perfect for me.

Hey guys,

Talked to the lady in charge of clubs at the SGM/AGM and she told me that if we wanted to, that next year if we still wanted to be a club that we could put up a stall at Club Day during O week...

I apologise my fellow club members but, 5 on a Monday is no longer a viable time for me to meet as i am in full blown double-degree study mode lol. If you change the time to an afternoon on Saturday or Sunday, it is more likely i can take a break for the club. Btw, i hear it is Joe's bday so a MASSIVE Happy Birthday to you from Waikato Uni Anime Club!!!

I agree with @muzumuzu. Time to get serious with studying (I still can't accept the fact that essays are vital in NZ uni.)

I wish we can meet on the first week of October - I want to celebrate our first month with all of you. Best wishes on your studies. See you all soon~

I'm not sure what everyone is doing once exams are finished, but if we can try and meet up during the holidays as well, or at least keep in contact through this site it would be awesome. Especially if we can get a spot at Club day at the beginning of next year. You never know, we may attract enough people to become a club, but we gotta make sure we stay together as well. Hope you are all going well with study and assignments, I know I'm working hard...

Hey guys hows the new year going for you so far? :)

More importantly; are you still interested in forming the club?

What say we start planning on what we are going to do for club day, in terms of attracting new members and organise what roles we are going to play on the day

I know 'free food' is often associated with o-week so I'm thinking of making sushi to give away on the day

I still am, and I met two people interested in joining. I hope we can meet up before Sem A begins and have a discussion on what to do on Club Day (like what muzumuzu said). Sushi sounds good. However, I don;t know how to make one? Do you, muzumuzu? I'll try to look up for some Japanese food that is easy to serve. See you all soon.
