| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Excellent episode, a very nice reference to Catcher in the Rye. Megumi is like the catcher for Uchida, as a psychological support when Uchida fails... Very nice "oen" reference as well. That was very well presented. Two awesome insert songs and we get to see the couple's past...as well as where they stand now, and how it differs from their initial dreams.... |

| I loved everyone teasing him about Megumi. I'm glad he realized she's just starting off in work herself and it's not exactly going perfectly for her either. |

| There was no way he wasn't going to tell everyone ;) That last oen reference didn't really make sense though, unless he was saying that he didn't want him to have a girlfriend, which seems unlikely. |
| This episode felt so complete. fulfilling? I mean, it didn't felt like it was 22 min, because it did exactly what you could have done to make a good development to a character. Very nice episode! Megumi is such a good girlfriend. |
| I have a longtime Japanese friend who hails from Okayama, now living in the US. Next time I see him, I will lay that "oen" joke on him. I know he'll be somewhat impressed. Loved how the rest of the crew saw the humor in this and made a tasteful fun jab at Uchida-san. That's a crew that is serious when it comes to work, but still can let loose and see the lighter side of life during their down time. |
