At the end of the 1 OAV (El Hazard: The Magnificent World) Makoto reunites with Ifurita in the end,but the OAV sequel (El Hazard: The Magnificent World 2) contradicts this final events and so the third and final entry of the OAV series,El Hazard: The Alternative World.
Why's that? Or am i missing something here?

They are different retellings of the show. Just like the Tenchi series.
