| Im curious why fans didnt like this. And sales determining 2nd seasons and above, it doesnt look like this will get a 2nd season and im sad T_T. So why didnt fans like this T_T |
| I just finished this show and while I liked it and kinda want a season 2 to tie up loose ends... I think I kinda understand why it wasn't as well received. The biggest problem would be that they unintentionally (?) loosened up all the dramatic scenes by having comedic scenes with Utao and others randomly. Now, in some cases it worked. The episode where they go to that beach house and there's a storm, and Utao "squishes" Kyouhei with her kakashi, that scene worked. However, during the final encounter with Mahiru it was supposed to be dramatic and stuff but ever so often they'd randomly throw in Utao being cute. I get she's a kid and all but she was gonna beat Mahiru for crushing her cookies? These quick transitions between serious and comedy threw the watchers off, sadly. |

Nice to know theres a fan like me that appreciated it Q_Q I hope it gets a season 2. i can handle the manga but its not fully translated eitehr so im stuck not knowing wut happens. T_T Utao sooo adorable ofc i'd crush someone for crushing the cookies i made for my special someone wouldnt you? :P |
| Not really sure why to be honest. This is one that has actually stuck with me since I started watching and reading it since the anime came out. I'd love to get a second season and buy the manga too. I'm still hoping the manga will get licensed for release at some point. Personally, I think it's very underrated :-. And I'd also wanna beat someone for crushing something I made whether it was for someone special or not lol XD. Luckily, I can control myself to an extent |
| It had a great start, I at up first 7-ish episodes in one sitting. But later on it just failed to follow up. It felt like it was trying to go in all directions, ultimately failing to deliver in all of them, unless mediocrity was the goal. It's a shame, really, since the idea was interesting and reasonably underused. But as someone said, it started seriously but then started to throw in comedy bits in the wrong places. I love a good laugh, but here they were done poorly and out of place. Mainly cause initially series set a more mature atmosphere (only slightly spoiling it with MC being too shy to ask a girl out), while "comedy" was almost at a Luisa level. On top of that they managed to spend 13 episodes and ultimately tell no cohesive story. This is just bits of back story and a lot of loose ends, which is a really bad move when you're not sure if you'll have a second season. There is a saying, paraphrasing: "Are you writing about character's most interesting part of life? If no, why not?" And sadly with this anime you're left asking the second question. And it seems it won't be answered. |
| I still have some hope fot season 2, im re watchig it And stays awesome Many animes has. Serieus scene when sudden something funny happens It all said for an s2 shown in ep 13 so maybe one day an new season comes |
