| Lmao Oshino Meme is crazy absurd letting Araragi fight Kanbaru by himself in that secluded room. The fight went and pop off crazy with the color changing gore from the blood then the intestines of Araragi being flung around by Kanbaru was nasty asf sheesh but thank god the Oshino called Gahara and their whole conflict at least got resolved. Can't wait for the next arc yuh for the new main female heroine to solve. |

| We get to learn more about Kanbaru. Since the monkey's paw isn't actually a monkey's paw Kanbaru's true intentions are revealed. Araragi is a very trusting person. He takes everything at face value even if it comes from an enemy. Or maybe he's just autistic. The Kanbaru vs Araragi fight scene is still one of the craziest I've ever seen. Tho it barely counts as a fight scene. Araragi was getting massacred. Senjougahara was there to save the day. In the end, it was she who saved Kanbaru. Too bad her arm didn't go back to normal. The early forum posts are talking about new OPs. So, I guess Kanbaru's OP didn't actually play in the TV broadcast version of the last 2 episodes? I wonder just how different the TV broadcast version of Monogatari is compared to the BD release. Nadeko Snake is next. Can't wait to see the reactions lol. |
| This arc was odd. On one hand, it feels like everything was solved. On the other, it feels unsatisfying? Although I do like that communication between Kanbaru and Senjogahara, it was very emotional. Finally, Renai Circulation is here. XD |

Psychological and supernatural are amongst my favorite genres. I like a good yandere character and I appreciate well made artwork. I thought I would have really enjoyed this series but for some reason I'm not. Can anyone else relate to this? I find the dialogue awfully quick making it difficult to read and absorb the subtitles. The actual dialogue itself seems often whacky and random. I'm having difficulty relating to the characters. I really wish they made an English dub for this. I give credit where credit is due. This series looks beautiful and I like the concept. Unfortunately it just seems like something has gotten lost in the translation. I'm considering doing a course in Japanese language next year so maybe I should come back to this then. At the moment it feels more like a chore than a joy to watch. Please, tell me someone else is having the same problem? XD
| @Bles- You're right. I watched this show in 2018 and was really disappointed with it and didn't continue with the sequels. Rewatching it now however, after watching dozens of other anime I'm shocked at why my past self didn't enjoy this series. It's goddamn beautiful. I guess 6 years really changes a person. |
| Why is everybody assuming the different colored blood is censorship?! It's a rated R show, so obviously it's an artistic choice. The blood is used as a metaphor for Kanbaru's inner struggles and her supernatural abilities. Would you rather have them start talking in the middle of the fight like a shounen or having a long ass flashback? No. |
