As you can guess from my name i'm a huge fan of The World Is Mine and sadly the last 4 volumes haven't been translated. I was wondering if you guys know which group i can reach to ask them if they can perhaps translate it. I'm dying to read the last 4 volumes as this is pretty much my favorite manga of all time. It also saddens me that not enough people know about this manga, granted it's not for everyone but if you are looking for a true seinen manga then this is it !

I know the feeling, I've been waiting to read the end ever since KEFI split up back in 2009 or something like that.

Reading the new chapters, it's like the magic never left even though it's been 5 years since I had to put it on hold. I spent years trying to pimp the TWIM Project to get another group to translate it, but to no avail. I'm so thankful to GWR for picking it up after all these years; the yearning has been great.

It's unbelievably good, the quality of the writing simply won't yield an inch. TWIM keeps you on your toes the entire time with it's non-relenting violence, the unforeseen twists and the haunting character portrayals. An absolute thrill, I'm planning to reread it as soon as it's finished.

Man, I've missed Toshi, Mon and Maria <3

simply the best manga or rather story i have ever read.
i didn't imagine the ending to be like this, but i'm glad it went this course.
the last few chapters were especially great - almost forgot about the guy who was with iijima.
i have to admit that i froze up while lookin at this picture

http://s8.postimg.org/e4f6tzbvp/13568812_14461.jpg

though he recieved the bear with the words "go die", he was so fuckin happy.
i couldn't continue reading for about 15-20 minutes.
it was just too much for me.

what did you guys think ?
any thoughts on hayes's speech ?
what about higumadon ?
ideas on mon's hideout ?
and of course the fate of lemon (toshi) - did you like it ?

finally i can set it as completed.
this is the first manga/anime/movie/book or whatever which i will rate as a 10.
there is nothing i would change nor anything i could criticize and the most important points
the story aswell as it's art were flawless.
therefore my first - it's still odd to use this word but...- perfect experience with something i watched/read.

how did you guys rate it ?

Hey there fuckzodd my reply is a bit late but... everything you said is exactly what i would have said. You took words from my mouth and yes i rate TWiM 10 no question about it. From the start to the end this manga just stayed awesome and wouldn't let your attention go. It took years but we finally have reached the end of this master piece.

It even left an empty feeling inside me knowing that there is no more TWiM to be translated and it's done. I'm happy very much so but also sad that i prob won't ever read another manga that entertained and awed me as much as TWiM did. As for Toshi i think he deserved it karma pretty much got back at him tenfold. As for Mon i felt bad for him esp when he was a kid. .I will deff re-read it again for sure in the near future. 10/10 no doubt!

I have a few gripes with it that prevent me from giving it a 10. The cartoony characterizations of Yuri and Shiomi with his stupid hand movements during serious moments were really off putting to me. And Mon and his absolutely absurd amounts of plot armor made me unable to suspend my disbelief on multiple occasions.

But the message this manga was trying to send was great though and I think it got it across very well. I also loved Toshi's character development throughout the series.

Great manga, i rate it 9/10. Very enjoyable and makes you to keep reading. Also it has one of the best character developments i have seen. The ending was something i was expecting at all but i liked it, it leaves some questions unanswered about Higumadon or how Mon died or how his body left earth. Also was it really mon that planned everything or was it his followers. But i dont really mind it at all, i like to leave some stuff in my imagination. Also do you guys believe that the dream that Toshi had of a world destroyed from bombs was what led mon to do what he did in the end?
Never ending nightmare!

This was basically what Zankyou No Terror wanted to be if it didn't pussy out and didn't have complete morons in its main cast.

My main gripe with this is series however is that ,except for the last volume,it was basically a more personal and local type story following the 3 main characters. And in the final volume it just turned into a global type of event all of a sudden and really exaggerated with all the info dumping and narration.
I wasn't also to blown away with all the "bringing up questions about what should humanity do/where is it heading to,atomic bombs are bad" which are very much overused nowadays in a lot of series imho, instead of actually providing some answers for once.

This. The story until this point was so good but still on a fairly local level. To have Mon go from a guy who couldn't care less about what is happening around him, to suddenly orchestrating the destruction of the entire world and his escape into space?! And the fact that Higumadon, which has been present since Volume 1, never got so much as the slightest hint of explanation or conclusion, and ends up a giant floating ball of fur in the ocean. I get that it's hard to end a manga after it's been so good for so long, but I almost wish this dude had pulled a Berserk or Hunter x Hunter and just stopped putting out chapters cuz this ending blows.

it has been released for a while now, replying to this on the off chance you were never able to complete it!
