| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Heh, Miyuki came first place again, no surprise there for magic + technical skills. I find this distinctive separation between class 1 and 2 students to be a bit odd still though. Anyways, I do look forward to Shizuku's performance. Based on this volume, transportation does seem to be advanced according to the first chapter. AI systems..damn, I wonder when we'll get one of those these days in our world. I pray. This volume details pretty much the Nine Schools Competition. Basically, from what I understand, it builds reputation for schools and also offers tremendous rewards for those who performs with outstanding performance. Pretty interesting stuff. Sounds a little generic but I think I can deal with it. First comp - shooting targets. Honestly, this felt a bit lame as I was expecting something else to test their technical skills. Battle Board sounds more fun with the waves tbh. Mayumi did pretty well in the shooting contest. Grats to her! She's a bit too OP though imo in this tournament. The Icicle Destruction contest is also interesting since it tests the limits of the characters beyond just magic. Poor Mari though ;.; damn. First High is in a leading position now although I think there are plenty of room for comebacks. Looking forward to more. |
