| I have redone my song with a prober offset now (all arrows are now red blue and yellow, except for very few) It now features 2 difficulties: HARD: Some of the weirder areas have been reworked or removed. All instances of HANDS have been removed (aka reworked) The amound of doubles has been severely lowered It should be playabel on pad now - I think - but dont hit me if it isnt EXPERT More or less the same as before with some minor edits - much more consistent arrow type-wise ... | Gonna dig this up, because I need some input. I've been off-and-on with making simfiles (as in making a chart, hiatus for three months, repeat) for quite a while, and I've only recently been putting more time into making and uploading sims. Being pretty new at this, I don't expect to have a fanbase flocking to my sims every time I upload. However, I noticed something on my last simfile. I've got about 450 hits on it, but only five downloads. This tells me that out of every ninety people, 89 of them are saying, "No, this sucks" and leaving it. I don't think it's a bad sim, but no one ever thinks their own work is trash, so I'm asking for some input from the members of this site. The steps are fine and seem to match decently with the song. The only reason I can think of as to why it might not be getting downloaded much is that the highest difficulty is a 9, which might turn some people away. Overall I think it's fine. |

| So people may be turning it down because nine-footer charts are too easy or aren't enjoyable? That sucks. I mean, I can play plenty of tens on pad, but there are still loads of songs in the 7-9 range that I enjoy playing. Kinda discouraging because I have quite a few simfiles half-done already, but only maybe one or two of them sound like they could be "ten material". At least, tens that actually make sense, as opposed to "arrowsex" charts that don't/barely follow the music. Anyway, thanks for the input. |

| I am a noob who plays x2-x3 on standard, heavy, and sometimes challenge who is currently trying to make simfiles for these 2 songs. I am not new to the game I am however new to making simfiles as these will be my first two. I will make the simfiles to the best of my abilities. I just don't want to lose interest and never finish them. Thanks in advance. |

I'm working on a pack and am excited for the release. But finishing a song and being able to looks at it thinking "damn I'm cool" is good too. The time it takes varies. It took me days (literally) spread over my summer to do a 71 minute song, but I can fully complete a 2 minute song with an expert 13 or so in maybe three hours if things go well. Sometimes interest is lost but I usually return to them eventually. xD |
