Setsuko's voice

Is it just me, or did Setsuko sound like some old lady trying to act young? And whoever her voice actor was obviously didn't use her real name. It was credited to Rhoda Chrosite, which is the name of a mineral. With a voice like that, I highly doubt she was really a little girl. Anyone else feel this way?

I have never seen the english, american or japanese ones... only the german one...
but ther the voice sounds truely like a litle child... and not lik and granny ^^...
