<div style="text-align: center;"><u><strong><span style="color:darkred">GetBackers<!--color--></span></strong></u><!--center--></div> GetBackers is a manga and anime about two getbackers who retrieve stolen or lost things to their client. The two GetBackers is: <span style="color:blue">Midô Ban<!--color--></span>, with witchblood in him so was he chased as a kid by all kinds of people. This have given him experience of who to trust and who to doubt. He is also the killer of Kudou Himiko's brother Yamamoto. There is a misunderstanding between Ban and Himiko so in the beginning of the anime and manga so are they sworn enemies from Himiko's point of view. Ban is very strong and with his right hand he can perform "Snake Bite" which is his 200kg grip. Also, because of his witchblood so can his strength grow even further. He also have the Jagan, "The Devil Eye". After someone looks into his eyes so can he create a one-minute illusion/nightmare. It can only be used at the same person once in 24 hours and only used three times in 24 hours, more than three times and his life will be at risk. <span style="color:orange">Amano Ginji<!--color--></span>, grew up in the hellish Mugen Jo. Also with a rough past but emotionally instable, he can easily be upset. He was the Lightning Lord of Mugen Jo and ruled it together with the Four Emperors but he left Mugen Jo. He then joined Ban and they both became the GetBackers. Ginji's powers is to emit electricity by using energy around him and take it into his body. In Mugen Jo so were his power infinite, hence the reason for his nickname Lightning Lord. Together with the Four Emperors so was he the leader of the gang VOLTS. Of course as in any manga or anime so does the heroes have enemies. :D The transporters, they are people who transport something, often unknown, from one place to another safetly. That's their mission from their client. Which can include stealing something and then transport it. Sometimes GetBackers is hired to take the stolen goods back. See where it's going? Good. :P The Transporters: <span style="color:purple">Kudou Himiko<!--color--></span>, grew up with her brother Yamamoto, Ban also joined them when they offered him some place to stay. On Yamamoto's 28th birthday so did he get killed by Ban. Himiko has since then seen Ban as an enemy and will take every chance she get to eliminate him. Himiko fights using lethal poisonperfumes, she always carries 7 of them on missions, she got thousands at her home. Nicknamed: Lady Poison. <span style="color:green">Gouzou Maguruma<!--color--></span>. Not much is known about him except that he hates to brake when driving his truck, hence the reason for his nickname: Mr. No-Brakes. When not on missions so does he, surprisingly enough, drive cab. He got two jobs then. <span style="color:red">Kurodo Akabane<!--color--></span>, the most dangerous transporter who enjoys to fight. All the missions he takes he choses for his own amusement. His goal is to see his full potential, how strong he can get, where his limit is. Despite his "evil" ways so is he very polite. He fights by using scalpels that he stores in his body, he can also merge his own blood with the scalpels and create different strong attacks. One of his more unique abilities is Bloody Sword, for that he uses blood and metal that is stored in his body. Scalpels and all kinds of attacks or abilities he uses comes mostly out from his hands which always have gloves. After the first meeting with GetBackers so is he close to obsessed to see their real power, both for his own amusement and to test his own power. The anime is 49 episodes long and the authors have announced that there will be no remake or continuation. T_T The manga is 39 volumes and it will be no more of that one either. Still, I wish and hope for a remake of the anime that will stay true to manga which the original anime havn't. The manga contains much more blood, we never actually see blood in the anime, the manga is also longer and we get to know much more in it.
